Hi! I’m Jantcy.
My name is Jantcy, and I love to read! When I was two, I asked my mom if I could learn how to read. She was an amazing woman and instilled a love of books in me from birth. But with my new baby brother around, she just couldn’t sit and read to me all day. So, I needed to be able to read for myself.
My mom didn’t know what to say to me. I was two. I wasn’t old enough to read, right?
A few months down the road I hadn’t given up. My mom found a lady who taught children to read and signed me up. And she was amazed when I had it down before I turned three. By five I had read every book in the house, including the dictionary! Before I started school, I was reading at a college level.
And my love for reading has only continued to grow.
Now, as a homeschooling mother of six amazing kids, I hope to pass on my love of literature.
I have also learned that my attention to detail and a natural understanding of spelling and grammar give me a fantastic opportunity in the amazing world of proofreading.
I am ecstatic about being able to delve into the world of writing and help my favorite people, authors, to perfect their work.
Crafts
When I am not reading, or busy with the myriad of activities that go hand in hand with being a wife and mom, I enjoy making things. Counted cross-stitch, knitting, embroidery, and crochet give me the downtime I need and result in a beautiful piece. Crochet is my favorite, and I am known for my crochet-thread baby dresses.
